Who we are

This website is operated by MSixtyone bv, registered at Boudewijnstraat 19, Beerse, Belgium.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. That means we decide what is collected and what happens to it.

If you have any question about your data, or want to exercise any of the rights set out below, go to the page “Contact Us” and leave us your message.

The short version

We are a small consultancy. We collect as little as possible.

  • We do not send marketing or promotional email.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
  • We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or profiling of any kind on this site.
  • We do not load anything from Google, Meta or any other third party into these pages.
  • Messages you send us stay in our mailbox. We do not load them into a customer database.

The only exceptions are the ordinary plumbing needed to run a website at all: our hosting provider and our email provider. Both are described below.

What we collect, and why

When you use our contact form

We collect the name, email address and message you type in. We use this solely to read your enquiry and reply to it. Nothing else.

The form does not save submissions to this website. It sends them straight to our mailbox, which means your message lives in our email account and nowhere else on this site.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch.

When you contact us on WhatsApp

If you scan our QR code or use our WhatsApp button, your message and your phone number reach us through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta.

We do not control WhatsApp and cannot change how Meta handles your data. If that concerns you, please email us instead.

Legal basis: your choice to contact us through that channel, and our legitimate interest in responding.

Spam protection on our contact form

Our contact form uses a hidden field that automated systems fill in and people never see. If it is completed, we discard the submission.

This check happens entirely on our own website. It collects nothing about you, sets no cookies, and involves no outside company. We deliberately do not use reCAPTCHA or any similar service that would send your details to a third party.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable and free of automated abuse.

Server logs

Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information each time a page is requested — typically the IP address, the time, the page requested, and the browser used.

These logs exist to keep the site running securely and to diagnose faults. We do not use them to identify individuals or to build any picture of who visits.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.

Cookies

We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.

The only cookies this site sets are the standard WordPress ones needed to keep a logged-in administrator signed in. As a visitor, you will not be given any of them.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone to use for their own marketing. We do rely on a small number of service providers to operate:

WhoWhat they handleWhy
ServerFreakWebsite hosting and server logsTo run the website
ServerFreakOur email inboxTo receive and reply to your messages
Meta (WhatsApp)Your message and phone numberOnly if you choose to contact us that way

That is the complete list. Our pages load nothing from advertising networks, analytics services or social media platforms.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so — for example, in response to a valid order from a court or regulator.

Where your information is held

Our website and email are hosted in Malaysia.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, Meta may process that data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards Meta puts in place, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. You can avoid this entirely by emailing us instead.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as there is a reason to — while we are in conversation with you, and afterwards for as long as needed for our business records.

Where an enquiry does not lead anywhere, we delete it within 12 months.

Server logs are kept for the period our hosting provider applies, typically a few weeks.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us to:

  • See the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
  • Delete it
  • Restrict how we use it
  • Object to our using it, including where we rely on legitimate interests
  • Receive a copy in a portable, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these, contact us via the “Contact Us” page. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.

You do not need to explain why. If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will delete it.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first — we would rather put it right.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In Belgium this is the Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged clearly.
